Kari is currently the Local Government Liaison for CUPE-BC, a position she has held since 2024. Prior to that, Kari was the President of CUPE Local 3191 for almost four years. Kari co-chairs CCG’s Trustee Project, a joint initiative with the Institute for Public Education (IPE) that aims to build capacity and progressive leadership among school board trustees.
